By this time, it was also used in insulating piping in everything from ships, and businesses to inside homes. This led to Mesothelioma, which is a cancer that usually affect the lungs.

Most people do not know how to look for asbestos, or what it looks like. This is why you should have your home, business, and even yard checked out for asbestos. Many homes built in the early 70’s were still using Asbestos, as the word had not really gotten out. So there is a good chance that a home you are in, or looking to buy, could have asbestos present somewhere on the property.
